I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Color Fixes
Just as with the Dodge tool, you'll start having problems when you use the Burn tool with a color image (Figures 16.85 and 16.86). When that happens, you're welcome to try painting with a shade of gray (with the Paintbrush tool) and setting the blending mode to Color Burn, which will darken the image, making the colors more vivid while leaving the highlights largely untouched (Figure 16.87).
