Exclusion Mode

I'm sorry to say that this mode, along with Diffuse mode, usually just sits around collecting dust. It's just not very often that I have an image that will benefit from Exclusion mode, unless I'm going for a psychedelic, tripped-out '60s look. Let's see what I came up with when randomly experimenting with filters. I started by typing D to reset my foreground and background colors; then I chose Filter > Render Clouds (Figure 13.103). Next, I chose Filter > Noise > Median and used a setting somewhere around 10 (Figure 13.104). Then, to spice things up, I chose Filter > Sketch > Chrome with settings of 4 and 7.
