Gradient Tool

At first, you might not see any reasons to get excited about using the Gradient tool. However, after we cover layers (Chapter 3), Channels (Bonus Chapter 2), and collage techniques (Chapter 15), you should find that the Gradient tool is not only worth getting excited about, but also downright indispensable. I want to make sure you know how to edit and apply gradients before we get to those chapters, so let's give it a shot.
