Navigating Your Hard Drive
There are many ways to navigate your hard drive. In the Bridge's default configuration, the Folders pane will appear in the upper left of the browser window. That's where you can navigate your drive by clicking on arrows next to each folder to view its contents. I prefer to use the arrow keys on my keyboard to quickly navigate the folder list. You can also navigate your hard drive using the thumbnail preview area on the right side of Bridge. Double-click on folders within the thumbnail view to open them, and click the Up One Level icon (it looks like a folder with an up arrow on it) to move one level closer to your desktop.
