Match Color

Match Color is an interesting addition to Photoshop. It attempts to match the general color and contrast of two images. Let's start off with simple examples and then progress into more complex and unusual solutions.

Let's say you have two images, one of which has a very warm feeling and the other of which is rather neutral. But both images have somewhat similar content color and contrast (Figures 10.63 and 10.64). In order to match the general feeling of the two images, you need to first open both images, then click on the image you'd like to change and choose Image > Adjustments > Match Color (Figure 10.65).
