Device Profiles
Now that you have Photoshop set up for creating new images and opening pre-existing ones, let's get all your devices set up. Remember, a profile tells Photoshop what color of RGB or CMY your device uses. This is also where you're going to need to start thinking about how accurate you need things to be and therefore how much money you are willing to spend.
The more precise the profile, the more accurate your color will be. There are three ways to get a profile and they each come with their own level of cost and quality:
