Cloning Around

After you've chosen your brush, you'll need to tell Photoshop exactly where you'd like to copy from. Do this by holding down the Option key (Mac) or Alt key (Windows) and clicking the mouse button (Figure 16.38). Then move to a different part of the image and click and drag the mouse (with no key held). When you do, you'll notice two cursors (Figure 16.39). The first one is in the shape of a crosshair; it shows you the source of Photoshop's cloning. When you apply the Clone Stamp tool, there will be a second cursor—a circle showing you exactly where it's being applied.
