So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Using the Move Tool
After you have created the perfect Layer Mask, you might want to start rearranging your document by using the Move tool. You have three choices: You can move just the layer, just the layer mask, or both at the same time. The link symbol between the Layer Mask and image thumbnails determines what the Move tool will actually move. If the link symbol is present (that's the default), the layer and Layer Mask will move together (Figures 15.70 to 15.72).
