Chapter 24

Simulated Lighting

Simulated light illuminates a model using light sources similar to real-world lamps, bulbs, and fixtures (Fig. 24.1, Fig. 24.2). Typically used for interior renderings, simulated light is created by inserting and placing light sources throughout a model (Fig. 24.3). The light sources can be directed, set to specific lighting outputs, and adjusted to produce different color outputs (Fig. 24.4).
