IRPs have additional lighting options that affect the strength and tone of light. The three most common options are Exposure, Gamma, and Intensity (Fig. 23.11). Of the three, Exposure is the most common and important one to set (Fig. 23.12, Fig. 23.13, Fig. 23.14).

Exposure plays an important role during the rendering process. Make sure you adjust the exposure to obtain the best results. The IRP-specific lighting chapters review these settings.
