Dynamic Preview and Saving

To initiate the rendering process, click the Render button in the Shaderlight main menu. A new resizable screen will appear, serving as the Render preview window. The render will first upload and then start to coalesce and become visible in the preview window. The render progress will be displayed at the bottom left of the menu (Fig. 26.13).

Saving

To save the render at any time during the process, go to the top-left drop-down menu, and select File ⇒ Save As.

Dynamic Rendering

In the Render Settings menu, select Update ⇒ Auto to enable Dynamic rendering. Once the render process has started, just go back to SketchUp and perform any needed work. Adjusting the camera view, textures, and lighting will cause the preview window to update and reflect these changes when Update is set to Auto (Fig. 26.14). This does not work when Update is set to Tile.
