Fig. 33.4: All base modeling is done with Layer 0 as the active layer. Layer 0 is always set to the default when you first start a SketchUp model. If you’re working with imported information from CAD programs or an image, make sure that Layer 0 is active when you draft SketchUp edges and faces.
