When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
After Setup Is Under Way
With Setup off the launch pad, you receive several prompts before the installation process begins in earnest. If you started Setup from DOS, you see the following prompt:
Setup is now going to perform a routine check on your system. To continue, Press Enter. To quit Setup, press ESC.
Press Enter and Setup performs the ScanDisk check you learned about earlier. If ScanDisk finds any problems, it tells you and gives you various options on how to proceed. (I discuss ScanDisk in detail in Chapter 17, “Wielding the Windows 98 System Tools.”) When ScanDisk has completed its labors, press X to select the Exit button (which appears only if you started Setup from DOS) to continue with Setup.
