Scheduling Maintenance Tasks with Task Scheduler

The key to keeping your system in fine fettle is to run your maintenance programs—Backup, ScanDisk, or whatever—regularly. Placing shortcuts for these programs in your Windows 98 Startup folder is one way to ensure regularity. Performing a large backup or a Thorough ScanDisk check, however, might not be the most productive way to start your day.
