Customizing Outlook Express

Outlook Express comes with an extensive and welcome set of customization options that enable you to change the message folder columns, rearrange the basic interface, and much more. The rest of this chapter takes you through all these options.

Customizing the Message Columns

The default columns in Outlook Express tell you the basic information you need for any message. More information is available, however. For example, you might want to know the date and time the message was sent, the size of the message, and to whom the message was sent. All these items can be displayed as columns in the message list.
