I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Adding New Hardware
You've seen how the Windows 98 Setup program made hardware installation a breeze by detecting your devices automatically. You can get the same level of convenience after Windows 98 is installed by running the Add New Hardware Wizard. This Wizard essentially just runs the Detection Manager again with a few extra bells and whistles thrown in. If you'd prefer to specify the new device, or if you have a disk from the manufacturer, the Add New Hardware Wizard also lets you install individual devices by hand.
In either case, though, you need to display the Add New Hardware Wizard. To do that, select Start | Settings | Control Panel and then open the Add New Hardware icon in the Control Panel folder. Windows 98 displays the first ...
