Summary
This chapter showed you how to share files between a desktop and a notebook computer. I began by showing you how to use Briefcase folders to transport files to and fro and keep the versions synchronized. You then learned how to use Direct Cable Connection to set up a mini-network between two computers. The basic idea behind Direct Cable Connection is that by stringing a special cable between, for example, a desktop and a notebook computer, you can share files, folders, disk drives, and printers between them.
