Starting Backup

Assuming that you've installed the Backup accessory, select Start | Programs | Accessories | System Tools | Backup to get the show on the road.

Backup first checks your system to see whether you have any backup devices installed. If you don't, Backup displays a dialog box asking whether you want to run the Add New Hardware Wizard to install a device. If you do have a backup device on your system, click Yes and use the wizard to specify the device. Otherwise, click No to continue.

Each time you start Backup, you see the dialog box shown in Figure 16.1. You have the following choices:
