Installing the PC Speaker Driver

If you're just looking for basic sound capabilities (that is, the ability to play WAV files), you don't need to shell out a couple of hundred bucks on a fancy sound card. Getting Your Hands on the PC Speaker Driver

The PC Speaker driver comes in a self-extracting archive file named SPEAK.EXE. You find SPEAK.EXE on various Internet sites, as well as on the following Microsoft sites:
