The Windows 98 components you installed during Setup are by no means set in stone. You're free at any time to add new components and to remove components you don't need. The good news is that, thanks to its Add/Remove Programs feature, Windows 98 makes it a breeze to install and uninstall chunks of the system. Select Start | Settings | Control Panel.

In the Control Panel window, open the Add/Remove Programs icon to display the Add/Remove Programs Properties dialog box.
