Getting to DOS

Okay, so Windows 98 comes with DOS, and DOS comes with all kinds of internal and external commands. The next question is, how do you get to DOS so that you can work with these commands? The next few sections explain everything you need to know.

Starting a DOS Session

As you'll see in a bit, Windows 98 offers various methods of running DOS commands. One of these methods is the most obvious: Start a DOS session and run your commands from the DOS prompt.
