If you've upgraded to a new printer, you should remove your old printer to reduce clutter in the Printers folder and free some disk space.
To remove a printer, highlight it in the Printers folder and then either select File | Delete, press the Delete key, or right-click the printer and select Delete from the context menu. When Windows 98 asks whether you're sure you want to delete the printer, click Yes.
If no other printer is using some or all of the printer's files, another dialog box asks whether you want to delete these files. (You won't see this dialog box if all the printer's files are being used by another printer.) They're useless, so you might as well click Yes to get rid of them.
