Breaking from the norm, Samsung mobile devices assign up to three Latin characters per numeric key, which aects the “7”and “9” numeric a.

gul key sequences that produce them. e former uses only numeric keys to enter all
consonants, but the latter requires the “*” and “#” keys to enter all consonants.
