set standards established in Taiwan, this trivia is eectively rendered moot, or perhaps
attened, when these characters are encoded according to Unicode.

One of the most well thought-out character set standards from Taiwan is known as CCCII
(Chinese Character Code for Information Interchange; 中文資訊交換碼 zhōngwén
