How to upgrade to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central on-premise
We can have an upgrade to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central on-premise from one of the following versions of Microsoft Dynamics NAV:
- Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2015
- Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2016
- Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2017
- Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2018
To perform a full upgrade, you need to perform three steps:
- Upgrade the application code
- Upgrade the data
- Run the data-upgrade process
We will discuss these steps in detail in the following sections.
