It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Extracting data through APIs
APIs are the real future of REST services. They are available for both Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. With APIs, it is possible to integrate these ERP systems with other services.
API Services are bounded on OData services. It's possible to configure APIs services from a setup named API Setup (it's illustrated in the Chapter 13, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central).
