When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
The best new features of October's release – functionals
Some functional changes have been added in the October release; I will discuss some of the most important ones here:
- Catalog item (such as non-stock items): These pages have been renamed from non-stock item to catalog items.
- Sales quotes (archive document): The functionality of archiving documents has been put in different places.
- Send-to-email feature improved: Preview is always embedded in the document, and has a nice layout.
- Item sales blocked: You have multiple options to block an item; in this case, you can block sales.
- Items blocked are not visible in sales or purchase orders. For example, in the Sales Orders Line, a blocked item is not shown in the item list.
