When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Posted data cannot be modified (or deleted)
Out of the box, posted data cannot be modified or deleted. Posted documents can be deleted, but only after a paper copy has been printed for manual archiving.
Not being able to modify or delete ledger entry data is one of the most basic requirements of any legitimate accounting software.
Frankly, no software would allow you to modify ledger entry data. Think about how trustworthy your financial data would be if your auditors found out you can modify the financial ledger!
This may cause some frustration for Microsoft Dynamics NAV users who are used to a home-grown system or other off-the-shelf accounting software, where they can just void data without any repercussions. This is usually not an issue ...
