So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Data Upgrade from Microsoft Dynamics NAV Development Environment and PowerShell
Since Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2016, it is possible to launch the Data Upgrade procedure directly from the Microsoft Dynamics NAV Development Environment or PowerShell script (as already mentioned). The Microsoft Dynamics NAV Development Environment already contains the necessary information to proceed with the data upgrade without having to read the developer toolkit files. You can launch it from a command, as shown in the following screenshot:
