I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Configuration templates
Templates are used to default data on some fields when we import data into Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. There are some mandatory fields that don't exist on the dataset that you're importing the data from, using the configuration templates; we'll be able to default these mandatory fields.
It is possible to use this tool for any table for which it is necessary to define a model, the defined model will be used to pre-fill the necessary/mandatory fields and guide the user to a correct data entry.
You usually create templates for the master data, such as customers, vendors, and items master data.
