In Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2018 and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central on-premise, there are more than 200 tables that can be considered configuration tables. If you intend to utilize all of the features in Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central on-premise, you need to fill them in when you create a new company; the same does not apply to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central SaaS, as there are fewer configurable tables available because the set of tables are limited.
