It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Converting the database
Start the Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2018 Development Environment and open your old database. A warning message will appear to confirm your actions to convert the database:
As the warning suggests, make sure that you really want to proceed. There's no turning back!
After the process completes in a few minutes, you will receive the You must now run schema synchronization to finalize the conversion message, basically telling you that you're ready to connect the new service tier to the database.
Now, you have your database with Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 functionalities, which have the Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2018 foundation ...
