When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Installing MergeTool
The steps to install MergeTool are as follows:
- Create a new Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 database.
- Open the development environment for the new database.
- Open the Object Designer page by navigating to Tools | Object Designer or by pressing Shift + F12.
- Navigate to File | Import.
- Select the MGT1.30.37 NAV7 B33451.fob file.
- A message will be pop up saying that all the objects have been examined and no conflicts were found. Choose Yes to import all the objects.
The steps to install the help files for MergeTool are as follows:
- Copy the addin_e.hh file into the C:Program FilesMicrosoft Dynamics NAV70ServiceENU folder in the server where the Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 services are installed.
