I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Limitations for migrating to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central SaaS
As already mentioned in the first chapters of this book there are some limitations in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central SaaS, also in relation to data migration, data export/import, and data backup. They are listed as follows:
- No backup/restore database feature is available (Microsoft create backups with its policies—you can only request a restore if necessary)
- We have no access to the database
- PowerShell is not available (no PowerShell cmdlets and PowerShell database functions: we don't have import and export data functions such as NAVDATA, EXPORTDATA, IMPORTDATA)
- No Export\Import data from pages (these pages are not available)
