In Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central SaaS, you cannot modify standard reports and, as yet, it is not possible to create report extensions; it is only possible to create new reports.

You can create them manually or convert them from C/SIDE objects reports through a specific application named: txt2AL; once converted, it is possible to manage them in VS Code.

From VS Code, you can do the following:

• Recreate/change the report, adding the RDLC layout
• Create the dataset in AL
• Generate the RDLC layout from VS Code
• Customize it with Report Builder
• Import the new layout as a Custom Layout for new reports
