It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Service orders
Service orders are the documents in the Microsoft Dynamics NAV Service Management application area in which you can enter information about services (repair and maintenance) on service items.
Service orders are created in the following instances:
- When a customer requests a service.
- Automatically by the program at the intervals defined in service contracts.
- When you convert a service quote to a service order. A service quote can be used as a preliminary draft for a service order.
