So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

It involves changing the resolution of hidden business rules in data fields, such as
account numbers. Also the structure and the relationships of the data are
adjusted to the analysis domain. Transformations occur throughout the
population process, usually in more than one step. In the early stages of the
process, the transformations are used more to consolidate the data from different
sources; whereas, in the later stages, data is transformed to satisfy a specific
analysis problem and/or a tool requirement.
