The phone company records for each phone call a Call Detailed Record (CDR).
The CDR is stored in a database and normally consists of about 50-100 fields.
This database is the starting-point for the detection of fraud.
Table 7-1 presents the most important fields from a total of about 50 fields in a
CDR.
