3.4.2 Step 2 — Defining a data model to use
The second step in the generic data mining method is to define the data to be
used. A business like yours can collect and store vast amounts of data. Usually
the data is being stored to support various applications and as we considered in
Section2.1, “Business Intelligence” on page 8, the best way to do this is to use
