I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

I Can't Authenticate to Active Directory

| If you can get logged on to the Windows 2000 client using a local account but can't authenticate to Active Directory, you have three main suspects to check out. This assumes, of course, that you are sure you have a valid AD user account and you know the password. First, get logged on locally and make sure you can ping a DC. If this fails, you must fix the network before you can log on. Next, check the DNS client using the nslookup command to try to resolve the name of a DC. If your computer's DNS configuration is incorrect, you probably won't be able to find a DC. The third option is the system time. The Kerberos service allows packets ... |
