| Remember the name restrictions that are in place when creating users in the directory. The UPN must be unique within the forest, and the pre–Windows 2000 user logon name must be unique within the domain. Another restriction is that the display name must be unique within the container. You should add the user's middle initial to help ensure you have unique names. This also applies to creating any type of object in the directory—the display name must be unique. |
