I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Troubleshooting
Changes Aren't Being Saved
| Q1: | I've made changes to group policy, and the changes have disappeared. |
| If multiple administrators are using the group policy interface, the last writer wins. A good policy is to identify a particular console or administrator to modify group policy. |
Assigned Software Doesn't Install
| Q1: | I have assigned software to an OU, but the software is not automatically installed. |
| Check the group policy and make sure the software was assigned rather than published. If it is published, the user still has to use Add/Remove Programs to install the software. |
Logon Scripts Aren't Running
| Q1: | I have created a group policy to assign logon scripts to users, but the scripts are not running. |
