So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
NetBIOS Node Types
The NetBIOS node type determines how Windows performs non-DNS name resolution. Four NetBIOS node types exist: b-node, p-node, m-node, and h-node. The NetBIOS node type is a setting that can be made directly through the Registry, through the Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) or by making the machine a WINS client. These settings are based on RFCs 1001 and 1002.
