So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Summary
Group policy is used to do everything from configuring desktops to setting Kerberos policy. It is a very visible feature of the Active Directory. With group policy, you can leverage scripting, automatic application installation, public key infrastructure key management, and IP security. It is an enormous advantage in a large, distributed environment because it enables the modification of the user's environment without physically visiting the client PC.
