Schema Components
You must understand several pieces of the schema to be able to make informed decisions about modifying it. Even if you have no plans to modify your schema, bear in mind that many applications you install in the future will modify the schema during their install processes. Therefore, it is important that you understand the schema, its components, and the implications of schema modifications.
