Time for action - create a Spark Material
In order to really pull off this effect, we should add a material to the Particle System. We need to create that material first, so let's turn our attention to that for the moment.
- Create a new Material by either right-clicking/secondary-clicking in the Project panel and choosing Create | Material, or by clicking Assets | Create | Material in the menu.
- Name the new Material Spark. The sphere icon helps us remember that this is a Material. Consider dragging this new Material into the Materials folder to keep your project organized.
- In the Inspector panel, choose Particles | Additive as the Shader type.
