From the list mentioned in the preceding section, the interviews are usually the most valuable, and they are listed in descending order of value, in my experience. Most of the time, interviews are a must have for your UX projects. Simply put, talk to people working on the product, and more importantly individuals who know the product's target audience. For example, customer support staff are always a great source of personas, but so is management. Conduct as many interviews as you can, not only to create personas but also to understand the challenge much better.
