Wireframes and color

Some experts suggest wireframing in grayscale. That's not a bad idea, especially if you are new to UI design. Even seasoned UI gurus can benefit from the lack of color. If you add any color to a wireframe, that might lead to a discussion about color choice, color theory, and the psychology of colors. Those discussions should be left for later stages of the project. The problem with grayscale wireframes is that sometimes you really want that button to be green or that link to be blue. The exact shade of blue can be picked later, but a hint of color can make your wireframe look better and communicate better. (As long as you make sure that it still looks like a concept with color added, and not confused with a UI design.) ...
