I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Creating symbols
A symbol is a reusable group of elements, which we create to speed up the creation of wireframes. Symbol is a common name for this feature, but also misleading, because in some software, such as Adobe Animate CC 2017, symbols work differently. They are more powerful, nestable, come in multiple types, and so on. The beauty of Balsamiq lies in its simplicity, and this also applies to symbols.
For creating wireflows, I usually convert each wireframe into a symbol. To do this, select everything in the wireframe by dragging the selection box from one corner to the opposite.
