I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Prompts: what to Log?
After deciding the logging method, you need to choose prompts. While it's tempting to say that you want everything relevant to the project logged, that's not a reasonable request. If you are doing a diary study, you can't expect the users to know about your research objectives, and guess what's relevant and what is not. Even for a field study, the prompts are vital in synchronizing the logging of multiple researchers or analysts. Prompts are what we use to prime the logging mindset. Remember that car buying can coexist with other mindsets, including the participation in a longitudinal research mindset.
